However, it should be used according to the instructions. Don’t apply it like a lotion all the way. Just dab it on the skin, but don’t rub it. Use plastic film to cover it. Remove the wrap after 40-45 minutes. And you will feel no pain when the horrible machine will be drilling the skin.

This is the most sensitive part to get a tattoo. The first hour was almost painless, though I felt pressure from the tattoo gun. The numbing effect withered as we were close to the final session. End of the day, it was a great experience with Dr. Numb.

I have got an ankle piece done and I couldn’t feel it. Just make sure to wear it for 40 minutes before and keep it wrapped. You will experience ultimate numbness within 20 minutes of application. However, I deduct one star just because of the price.

But still I tried it to overcome my fear of tattoo pain. Seriously, it is one of the best numbing creams available and I used it many times. For now when I have got full sleeves (including my back and elbows), I can say that tattoos are painless. It is just that you need to have a right numbing cream by your side and of course, a good artist too.

To me, getting tattooed was no less than a challenge. But I wanted to have one for my partner. Luckily, my artist has this solution which blocked pain right there. As it was a small design, the process ended soon. But I could feel that my skin is numb for a very long period.

And the best advice I can give to any one yearning to get tattooed is that keep a numbing cream handy. I always shave the area before getting done and apply Dr. Numb at home. By the time I reach tattoo parlor, it has worked for me. The artist just washes the area with warm water, dry it and get started. In next few hours I get the desired design.

So it was great to see a product causing numbness for such a long period. Though I have used other anesthetics before, yet this one was surely better. It was my sixth tattoo and a completely pain-free one. For the next in queue, I am going to trust it for sure.
